Four suspects have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at Lake Chabot Park in San Leandro last week, according to police.
San Leandro resident Daniel Lopez, 19, and Oakland residents Carl McCoy, 21, and Christian Suarez, 19, were each charged in Alameda County Superior Court with robbery, according to district attorney's office spokeswoman Teresa Drenick.
At about 11:50 a.m. last Thursday, police received a report that three suspects approached a victim and robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, according to police.
The victim reported the incident to police and provided a detailed description of the suspects and the their vehicle. The subsequent police investigation led to the arrest of the three suspects, police said. All three were taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
