California State Parks officials say Felipe de Jesus Amezcua, 19, of San Leandro, died Sunday in a crash at the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area.
California State Parks officials say Felipe de Jesus Amezcua, 19, of San Leandro, died Sunday in a crash at the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area.
Amezcua was reportedly riding a motorcycle that crashed after going over a 25 foot drop.
The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
State Parks officials say this is the first death at the Oceano Dunes SVRA this year. No deaths were reported in 2012, three deaths were reported in 2011, and there were none in 2010.
