Grass Fire Contained Near Estudillo Avenue Exit

Fire crews have controlled a small grass fire alongside Interstate Highway 580 in Oakland this afternoon, according to a fire dispatcher.
The fire was reported at noon on a stretch of vegetation along the highway near the Estudillo Avenue exit, the dispatcher said.
Crews were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes and no injuries were reported.
