Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at the San Leandro Library

In observance of Hispanic Heritage Month, the San Leandro Public Library is proud to have as a guest speaker Alejandro Murguía, San Francisco’s first Latino Poet Laureate and a professor of Latina/Latino Studies at San Francisco State University. He is also a founding member of the Mission Culture Center, which is dedicated to promoting, preserving and developing the Latino cultural arts. During this event, Mr. Murguía will discuss and share his profound poetry.
