24/7 Modern Mom, Neighbor

I am a happily married mom of five.  I have two older sons (12 & 8) and 22-month-old triplets.  Yep, triplets.  It was an unexpected pregnancy.  So no, I was not "trying" to have them.  That's a common question.  But oh, how I love them!  All of my children have changed my life for the better.  Don't let the hair between my fingers fool you.  I pull it out for the same reasons all parents do.  Kids can drive a seemingly sane adult nuts.  It's still worth it!

I love Real Estate.  My career started over 10 years ago as a Manager for small mortgage refinance company.  Since then I have taught Real Estate for Kaplan (formerly Anthony Schools), taught marketing techniques, and formed amazing bonds with people in my community.  I feel blessed. 

Prior to Real Estate I worked primarily as an Operations Manager for small to mid-sized companies.

I have a lot of opinions.  I love to share them.  I truly enjoy a heated debate. (minus the foolishness and name-calling.)  I am an independent thinker.  I'm a leader.  Mostly, it's because I care.  My life, my family, my business, my community are all very important to me.  I have an opinion about pretty much everything that affects these treasures.  I don't expect people to agree with me.  I'm not even hoping for it.  I'm just happy to live in a place where opinions matter and expressing them is encouraged.  I encourage the same in my children.  I'm flattered when they take after me in a specific quality but I am proud of their individuality.

I love to write. Poetry is my yoga.  I am a Real Estate Broker and Editor for Macaroni Kid (Hayward/San Leandro/San Lorenzo/Castro Valley), an online weekly parenting newsletter.
