The…More chamber had more than 500 members as of November 2010.</p> <p>The chamber has a wide range of specialized groups, including the Asian Business Council, Latino Business Council, Business Association of South San Leandro, Industrial Roundtable and Small Business Development Council. There is also a Senior Moments group, made up of members interested in reaching out to San Leandro's senior community, and a Government Affairs Committee. </p> <p>Members benefit from advertising opportunities, a business referral service and discounted office supplies, among other benefits. The chamber hosts frequent mixers, networking events and ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Its website includes a calendar of events, directory of members and a list of job postings. Membership dues vary depending on a firm's number of employees. </p>

The school has approximately 2,700 students, who are split between the new Fred T. Korematsu campus for 9th graders and the main campus for 10th through 12th graders. </p> <p>San Leandro High School has three specialized academies: the San Leandro Academy for Multimedia (SLAM), the Social Justice Academy and the Business Academy. The school also offers special education, visual and performing arts and English language development. Students can also take AP classes in more than 10 subject areas and enroll in technical education programs such as computer science, auto mechanics and graphic design.</p> <p>The school publishes an award-winning student journal, <em>The Cargo</em>, and maintains competitive sports teams, while an after-school program provides students with tutoring and enrichment classes.
