Commission meetings are held bi-monthly and are open to the public.</p> <p>Programs include professional and informal training programs, funding and technical assistance to improve the quality of childcare facilities, parenting programs and early childhood mental health services. First 5 also gives grants to non-profit and public agencies for work in the areas of family support and promotion of early childhood health and wellness. </p>
