St. Leander Catholic Church

<p>St. Leander Catholic Church is part of the Diocese of Oakland. It's located on Estudillo Avenue near the historic Peralta House. The original site for St. Leander Church was donated by José Joaquín Estudillo, the founder of San Leandro. The last home of Estudillo, built around 1850, is connected to the church. The existing church was built in 1957. </p> <p>The church is lead by Father Paul Vassar.  </p> <p>St. Leander has a private Pre K through 8th grade school, which is connected to the church.                          </p>
