Ploughman's Restaurant
Ploughman's is a diner-style restaurant serving a familiar menu for breakfast and lunch. Monday through Friday, from 6am to 11am, the special includes two slices of bacon or ham or two links of sausage with two eggs, hash-browns and toast or pancakes for $4.95. Omelets, salads, burgers, soup, chili, sandwiches, ice cream, milkshakes, root-beer floats, domestic beer and three kinds of wine complete the menu. Bubble & Squeak -- an original fusion of mashed potatoes and coleslaw -- is a customer favorite. Phone orders are accepted. The restaurant is a member of the San Leandro Downtown Association.
