John George Psychiatric Pavilion

<p>John George Psychiatric Pavilion serves adults suffering from severe mental illnesses, regardless of ability to pay. The center was opened in 1992 and named in honor of John George, a former member of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. </p> <p>The center is part of the Alameda County Medical Center and is the provider of most acute psychiatric emergencies in the county. John George also provides crisis consultation voluntary services. </p>
