Building Futures with Women and Children

<p>Building Futures with Women and Children is a non-profit organization that provides crisis counseling, support and housing for homeless and battered women and children. The organization runs two 55-bed emergency homeless shelters, a 20-bed domestic violence safe house and 52 units of temporary and permanent supportive housing.</p> <p>Building Futures also operates a 24-hour crisis hotline, a children's program, domestic violence outreach program and two new homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing programs. </p> <p>The organization is based in San Leandro and provides programs throughout Alameda County. </p>
