- 70th Anniversary Gala and Fundraiser to Celebrate USS Hornet. 6 p.m.
- Moreau Catholic High School Open House. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 27170 Mission Boulevard, Hayward
- James Madison Elementary Arts & Crafts Show. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 14751 Juniper Street, San Leandro.
- Ashland Little League Player Registration. Ashland Fields (right behind skate park) 16301 E 14th St. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Shoreline Trash Takers. Grab your work gloves and your goodwill; salt marsh needs your help with trash has accumulated since last clean-up. We'll provide the trash bags and some gloves to loan. Ages 5 and up. Free! Hayward Shoreline.
- Community Meeting with Alameda County Supervisors Nate Miley and Wilma Chan. Hayward. Opportunity to help shape the Eden Area for next five years. Those attending will have the opportunity to vote on Public Safety & Realignment, Education, Agriculture and the Environment, Governance, and Economic Development.
- Arab American Month Celebrated at the San Leandro Library. ASWAT Women’s Choir performs 2 p.m. Free.
- Chanukah Faire & Boutique. Congregation Shir Ami, 4529 Malabar Ave., Castro Valley. Craft Items & Holiday Gifts by Local Artists.
