Volunteers Sought For San Leandro Hospital Campus

Are you a senior who wants to stay active and give back to your community without having to travel far? The San Leandro campus of Eden Medical Center may have just the right volunteer opportunity for you.

The is looking for seniors and mature individuals who want to make a difference in other people’s lives.

Volunteers perform a variety of important functions including greeting patients and visitors, delivering flowers and mail, staffing the gift shop, transporting patients, supporting patients’ friends and family, and working on special projects for the administrative team.

Throughout the year, Eden Medical Center also hosts a number of special events that volunteers have enjoyed supporting. These events include the annual Run to the Lake and Health Expo (held on the second Sunday of July), the Foundation's Golf Tournament (held in September), a Child Car Seat Safety Check-up (held throughout the year), and other health fairs.
