is accepting nominations for its Senior Yard Clean-up, in honor of Earth Day, and is looking for volunteers to help the day of the event.

Tell the agency in 100 words or less why your nominee could use help cleaning their yard. If you have a photograph of the yard, submit that as well.
The deadline to submit nominations is May 4. Send all nominations and pictures to rcruz@divinehomecareca.com.

The clean-up date will be May 12 from 12 to 4 p.m.
If you would like to volunteer, call Roxana at 510-639-9088. Volunteers will be asked to meet at 11 a.m. May 12 at the Divine Home Care office in downtown San Leandro. You should call in advance to reserve your volunteer spot, however, and confirm the meeting place is the same.
Volunteers should come with clothes that they don't mind getting dirty, gloves and a willingness to work.
