First Friday Event July 6 Benefits Boys and Girls Club

Drake's Brewing Co. in San Leandro comes through again to help a local non-profit

The will benefit from . "First Friday" night July 6 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Guests will get to sample a wide assortment of micro brews. There will also be sausages for sale. BackBeat, a live band, will be on hand playing Beatles music to entertain guests.

A $5 donation to the Boys and Girls Club is requested, but not required, for admission.  The brew-tasting itself costs $15 and includes a mug with Drake's logo.

Drake's is located at 1933 Davis Street, Building 177 (by the Davis Street Wal-Mart).  Its on-going "First Friday" events help raise money for many non-profit organizations and schools in the community.
