Kids " Camp-Out" June 16 To Kick Off Dream-Big READ

Library hosts event to launch its summer reading program full of fun activities

 

From the San Leandro Library -

Attention Kids! Grab your sleeping bag or blanket, then head to the this Saturday, June 16 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., for our (indoor) campout to start the kid's summer reading program, Dream Big - READ! 

The evening will feature fun activities for the whole family including campfire tales from master storyteller John Weaver; cool crafts like glow-in-the-dark animal masks; tasty treats like edible campfires and s'mores and making your own pizza courtesy of Papa Murphy’s at the Greenhouse Marketplace.

And, don’t forget to bring your favorite stuffed animal for a special stuffed animal sleepover! Your animals will enjoy a fun night at the library after you go home. 

This event is free and families with kids of all ages are welcome to attend. The library is located at 300 Estudillo Avenue, San Leandro.
