How Will Jared Cunningham Do In NBA Draft?

This progeny of San Leandro High is making a high stakes bid to go pro. How do you think he'll do?

Jared Cunningham, San Leandro High Class of 2009, was a basketball sensation when he played for the Pirates under coach Sean MacKay. He averaged 20.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.0 steals in his senior year.

Cunningham went on to become a standout at Oregon State University during three seasons of college play.

In April, he decided to forgo his senior year to enter the NBA draft, according to a newspaper report.

"I’m ready to fulfill my dream of playing in the NBA," Cunningham told the Oregon Register-Guard.

Now DraftExpress projects that he will be the number nine pick in the second round. He could either be a sensation like Jeremy Lin, or have a rockier path like Jerome Dyson.

What do you think?
