Free July 4th Community Fair in San Leandro

A free July 4th Community Fair packed with tons of fun activities for all ages will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at at 800 Davis Street in San Leandro.

The event is being sponsored by the car dealership along with the the Rotary Club of San Leandro and Creative Works.

According to the event flyer, included in the day's festivities will be a "classic car show, promotion of the fair by a local radio disc jockey, a community business fair, a battle of the garage bands, surprise sports celebrity guests, athletic and team sports demonstrations, a raffle and prizes, and games and contests for children of all ages."

Advanced food, game and raffle tickets for the event can be purchased at the and at the. Proceeds raised will benefit the and the San Leandro Sports Foundation.

There is free parking at the event. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Food and refreshments will be on sale.
