San Leandro Little League will host its opening day on Saturday.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. on the baseball field of John Muir Middle School. Children who participate are asked to arrive by 9:15 a.m.
Opening day will include games, a picnic lunch, ceremonies and a parade.
