Castro Valley Bass Classics, a popular East Bay fishing club founded in the 1970's, is currently accepting applications for new members.
The club helps people learn the sport of bass fishing in a friendly atmosphere at monthly tournaments held throughout Northern California.
It welcomes boaters and non-boaters. It meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at at 3188 Alvarado St., San Leandro.
Club dues are $75 twice annually.
