SLAM Fast For Nonviolence, Day 5
Day five brings us a video about a student that watches his friend lose control of his life.
Today's Fasters are Jonny Neagu, Bobby Paiz, Calvin La, Danny Olgin and Nick Gamboa. The Fast for Nonviolence is a 25 day fast relay inspired by Cesar Chavez' fast in 1968 reaffirming his movement's belief in nonviolence. San Leandro Academy for Multimedia (SLAM) students have created media on with the theme of "I change the world by changing myself." SLAM students have chosen to look at where they are responsible for violence and what they can do in their own lives to end violence in their lives, their school, their city, and their world.
