Season of Service, Period Of Peace: 2/11
The Associated Student Body (ASB) lead in the creation of a "human heart" made entirely out of students on the Quad.
Friday marked the last day of ASB's week in the Season Of Service, Period Of Peace. They ended their week with the creation of a "Human Heart" on the SLHS Quad where students were asked to stand in the shape of a heart to show their participation in the Season Of Service, Period Of Peace; a ten week span from MLK day to Cesar Chavez day where school groups pledge to lead SLHS students in activities supporting peace, justice, and nonviolence.
