Moreau Catholic High School Hosts Homecoming Night to Bid Farewell to 50-Year-Old Field

All Mariner Alumni and local elementary and middle students invited to eat and attend the game for FREE!

Friday is a historic night in Hayward. Come enjoy the last football game on the
Moreau Catholic High School original field. It is nearly 50 years old and scheduled to be replaced this spring with a brand new Athletics and Student Activities Complex.

Moreau Catholic High School Mariners’ varsity football team will celebrate their
Homecoming game by taking on the Irvington Vikings on Friday.

The evening runs from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Activities include the homecoming football game (Junior Varsity kickoff is at 4:30 p.m. and Varsity kickoff is at
7 p.m.), a presentation of the Homecoming Court, Alumni BBQ, children’s bouncy house, delicious refreshments from the Mariner Cafe (including our famous tri-tip sandwich), screening of historic moments of the Mariner athletic legacy, rally squad performance, and much more.

All Community members are invited to join the fun and to root for Moreau Catholic, which is in the Fourth Quarter of the Campaign for Champions fundraising drive to support the construction of the new Athletics and Student Activities Complex. With just under $2 million left to raise to meet their $5 million goal, they invite community members to contribute. Please consider giving safely and securely via their website at:www.campaignforchampions.com
