July 7 Golf Tournament Benefits School Music Programs

Lenny Williams Golf Classic will be played at San Leandro's Monarch Bay Golf Club Tony Lema Course

The Fifth Annual Lenny Williams Golf Classic, a benefit for keeping music alive in the San Leandro Unified School District, will be held July 7 at the Tony Lema Course.

The Keep Music Rockin Foundation will benefit from the event.  The non-profit organization, operated completely by volunteers, raises funds to restore music programs at San Leandro public schools sacrificed by San Leandro Unified School District budget cutbacks.

Check-in for the golf tournament is at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and includes tee prizes and a putting contest. At 12:30 to 5 p.m. there will be modified shotgun with start times and at 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. an awards reception, raffle and auction will be held.

There are various sponsorship levels available which can be found on the event brochure here.  To register for the golf tournament or learn more about it you can go here.
