Eat Out for Education

On the first Wednesday of each month join San Leandro Education Foundation (SLED) for Eat Out for Education!

When you present your Eat Out coupon on the first Wednesday of each month to a participating restaurant, 10 percent of the proceeds from your meal are donated to SLED. We encourage the community to patronize these restaurants for demonstrating their commitment to our children's education and the vibrancy of our city.

Ever wonder where proceeds from the fundraiser go? We put all the money directly into our schools. Last November, Eat Out funds helped us present nine schools in the San Leandro Unified School District - each school that hadn't yet received money from SLED - with $2,000 technology grants. You can help us make that a reality this year just by going out to eat!
