High School Summer School
San Leandro Unified School District is pleased to offer summer school courses for our high school students.
The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, June 14th.
Students may pick up a registration packet from their counselor.
Students who currently attend a high school in San Leandro are invited to register for subject area classes that provide credit recovery opportunities. Or, high school students may register for CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam) prep classes.
In addition, we are offering a bridge program this summer for current eighth grade students who will be attending our 9th grade campus in Fall, 2012.
School will take place at the San Leandro High School campus at 2200 Bancroft Avenue, San Leandro.
Summer session will run June 25 through August 2. Classes will run from 8 to 10:30 a.m. with a break from 10:30 to 11 a.m. A second period of classes will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be no summer school on Fridays or on July 4. There is a mandatory orientation students must attend on June 22.

Special Education and Pre-Kindergarten Summer School
SLUSD is also offering an Extended School Year program for elementary and secondary special education students, as well as a summer pre-kindergarten program for general education students who have never attended pre-school.
The deadline to submit applications is Thursday, June 14. Those summer programs will take place at Jefferson Elementary School, 14300 Bancroft Avenue, San Leandro and will run June 25 through July 26 except for Fridays and July 4. A mandatory orientation will be held June 22.
Special Education summer school will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the Pre-Kindergarten session will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
