From the San Leandro Library -
Join Bay Area artist Malik Seneferu January 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the San Leandro Main Library to create a beautiful piece of art to be displayed at the library and other city venues.
This four-day workshop held on consecutive Saturdays from 2 to 4 p.m. for students in grades 6 to 12 will be in honor of famed African-American writer Zora Neale Hurston.
Space is limited. There is a $20 materials fee. You can register for this event at the Main Library Children's Desk beginning November 26.
This is a Big Read program, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
