Work From the San Leandro Library If BART Workers Go On Strike
The city is inviting commuters to stay in town in the event of a BART strike.
If BART workers strike Monday, the city of San Leandro is offering special work spaces and wireless internet at the city's main library on Estudillo Avenue.
The work space will be available on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Karp Room of the San Leandro Public Library. Stranded commuters taking advantage of the library's offer are advised to bring a fully charged laptop as there are a limited number of power outlets available.
