Two Small Power Outages Hit San Leandro

One downtown and the other near Ashland.

 

Readers told Patch that one power outage knocked out traffic lights and caused jams around East 14th and Castro Streets in downtown San Leandro.

PG&E said only a handful of customers were affected by that outage which lasted a couple of hours.

A second outage was still underway at 4:00 pm on the border of San Leandro and unincorporated Ashland. It affected about 1,400 customers. According to PG&E's outage map, power is expected to be restored around 5 pm.
