Tickets For Trivia Bee Dinner Oct. 19 On Sale Now

Fundraiser benefits San Leandro Library's Project Literacy

If you love playing Trivia Pursuit or like to match wits with contestants on Jeopardy, the popular TV show, then you'll love joining in on the fun at the 19th Annual Trivia Bee that benefits the San Leandro Library’s Project Literacy.

The event will be held at the , 15301 Wicks Blvd., on Friday, October 19, with dinner and entertainment starting at 6 p.m. and the Trivia Bee contest starting at 7:30 p.m.

A drawing for prizes will also add to the fun factor. Proceeds from the evening will benefit San Leandro Library's Project Literacy which promotes adult and child literacy.

"This event has become a tradition in San Leandro," says San Leandro Mayor Stephen Cassidy.  “Come support Project Literacy, enjoy the dinner and friendly competition amongst the teams competing.  Even better -  come out and participate as a team member!”

Tickets to the event, for $25 each which includes a catered dinner, can be purchased at the . The library is located at 300 Estudillo Avenue.

Dinner tickets will also be sold at the door just before the event for $30 each.  For $1 you can buy raffle tickets to win prizes for the Project Literacy drawing that night.

Sponsors are also being sought to support the event. For $350, you can sponsor a Trivia Bee Team. All team sponsors will be acknowledged through library displays, the media and the official event program. So please sign up now!
