Join local author Patricia Wheeler as she shares a collection of heartwarming stories and photos from her new book, "Successful Tails: The Wonder of Therapy Dogs" at the nearby Castro Valley Library December 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Based on her extensive work with, and research of therapy dogs at work, Wheeler invites the public to experience the tremendous benefits these amazing creatures provide.

Come experience the magic of these dogs, right before the library's own therapy dog themed program, PAWS TO READ begins at 6:30 p.m.

Patricia Wheeler has completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Counseling at the University of Rochester, New York.  She has been a therapy dog handler since 2002

The Castro Valley Library is located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue and is wheelchair accessible. It is within walking distane from the Castro Valley BART Station. The book signing event will be held in the library's cafe area.
