Turn Clutter To Cash In Citywide Garage Sale May 19

San Leandro will hold a Citywide Garage Sale and Neighborhood Clean-up Day on Saturday May 19.

The deadline to register to participate is May 10. You can call 510-577-6026 or sign-up via e-mail at recycle@sanleandro.org.

This is a city-sponsored event to keep San Leandro neighborhoods clean and green.

Here's how it works:

Host a garage sale in the morning. (The City will provide free advertising of the event).

Later you can drop off electronics, appliances, tires, wood, fluorescent lamps, batteries mattresses and scrap metal at a designated recycling facility.
