Seniors: Tap and Jazz Dance Classes Begin

Dance your cares away at the San Leandro Senior Center.

Learn performing stage dance steps and choreography from local San Leandro instructor Debbie Cabral at the . Classes begin July 10.

Tap shoes are  required for the tap class and closed toe shoes are required for jazz.

Tap and Broadway-style jazz classes will be held July 10 through August 14. The cost for six classes is $36 for residents and $46 for non-residents. Tap will be taught from 12 to 12:45 p.m. followed by jazz from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m.

Participants can also choose to take a combo class including both tap and jazz which runs from 12 to 1:30 p.m. and costs $65 for residents and $75 for non-residents for a total of 12 classes.
