Presidential Debate: Live Reaction On Patch

Patch will be hosting a presidential debate viewing party and will gather reactions from our selected group. Chime in here on what you are most looking forward to for Wednesday's debate or what questions you think should be asked.

As the nation gears up for the 2012 presidential debate, Patch wants to know what you're expecting during Wednesday's showdown between President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Patch will be holding a debate-viewing event with a select group of community and business leaders.

The panelists will be sharing their reactions to what they hear from the two candidates. We will post those reactions live during the debate, which will be broadcast from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

We will also have a debate wrap-up story afterward with thoughts from our panelists.

When the story is posted don't forget to share your views on how the candidates addressed the issues you care about.

If you're a local business owner and are interested in attending Patch's debate-viewing event contact Patch Associate Regional Editor David Mills at david.mills@patch.com.

Yes, but Ron Paul is not running. I'm sure he'd love to, but he's smart enough to know he'd be destroying his son's political future.

It is obvious that you are in a dream world like Obama wants all voter to be in. He not only do not know what he was doing when he got in office but still doesn't but you Liberal fools will never realize that and you love his BS and his promise to "take you to a better place" which he nor you have no idea where that is!!!!

Greetings to ALL, After reading everyone’s comments, it seems everyone is only interested in voting for political party. I know I am repeating myself, but the issues are still issues. Medicare, Social Security, the deficit, jobs and what each candidate's plan is, that is what we should be thinking about. We have a responsibility as voters to ourselves, each other, to our children and their children and so on. We have the responsibility to be fully informed and to share the information with one another to make intelligent decisions. I am waiting to see something of substance from Romney. The only thing I keep hearing from Mitt is what Obama did not succeed at. Once we start hearing the ideas, goals and plans from each candidate we should take the time to investigate and research everything. I don't know about you, but I don’t want to push all my chips forward and vote for either candidate not knowing what I’ll be getting into. I would be putting my children’s future at hazard. I want to be comfortable with my vote and say “alright, I’ll be a part of this plan.” Use FactCHECK.org or any other website which gives you facts without bias. I say forget party lines. Ever since George W’s first term, I abandoned hard party lines in voting. Let us watch the debates with open minds and follow the truth where ever it may take us. If it leads you to vote against your party, whichever it may be, then so be it. i know it's aggravating. I'm ahead of you there.
