Medicare Open Enrollment Presentation on Monday

Do you have questions about which health plan is best for you? Attend Monday night's Medicare presentation given by David Sayen, Regional Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Members of the public often find themselves asking which health plan is best for their needs. However, that is a question that cannot easily be answered by others because health plan choices ultimately are personal decisions.

To help explain what Medicare participants need to know in order to navigate the current Fall Open Enrollment Period, David Sayen, Regional Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - San Francisco office, will be returning to the San Leandro Senior Community Center on Monday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Each person has unique sets of personal priorities, and how individuals choose their health coverage depends on those particular priorities.

When choosing a health plan, it's always a good idea to review health and drug plan choices made in the past year, create a list of any missing desirable components, and then seek a plan that meets as many of those components as possible. Things to keep in mind while considering health plan choices include costs, coverage, convenience and quality of care.

The San Leandro Senior Community Center is located at 13909 E. 14th Street. Persons of all ages are welcome to attend. Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly recommended.
