Free Heart Health Program Offered to Residents

The program will be held at the Senior Community Center on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Preregister online to reserve a spot.

In honor of Heart Health Month, the San Leandro Senior Services Division and Eden Medical Center staff are pleased to announce a new community education program designed to teach the public about taking care of one's heart.

This free program will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Senior Community Center, located at 13909 East 14th Street. 

Attendees at this informative presentation will learn to understand what increases the chances of developing heart disease, and also how to decrease those risks so as to stay healthy for as long as possible.

Seniors, family members, caregivers and friends are encouraged to attend this free presentation. Space is limited, so pre-registration is strongly recommended. Registration is available in person at the Senior Community Center and Marina Community Center in San Leandro, online at www.sanleandrorec.org or by calling (510) 577-3462(please refer to course # 31589).
