Evening "Coffee With The Cops" June 5

Come downtown from 6 to 7 p.m. and bring your questions for SLPD

 

A special evening "Coffee with the Cops" will be held Tuesday, June 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the at 101 Parrott Street.

According to the City of San Leandro Crime Prevention Unit, "Police officers, detectives and the will be on hand to discuss crime trends in your neighborhood, answer your questions and provide information on topics of interest."

Additionally members of the Crime Prevention Unit and Code Enforcement Section of the police department will be present and will speak about Neighborhood Watch Programs and other ways to lower crime.

"“Coffee with the Cops” is a pilot program implemented by the in an effort to enhance communication between community members and the Police Department," say police representatives, "Meetings will have an informal format, designed to be informative regarding public safety and quality of life issues that impact your neighborhood. These monthly presentations are held at locations throughout the community."
