Zoning Enforcement Official Hearing

San Leandro's Zoning Enforcement Official (ZEO) Hearings are generally held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 2 p.m. in the Helen Lawrence South Offices Conference Room of the San Leandro City Civic Center Complex.

According to the City of San Leandro's website, The Zoning Enforcement Official is responsible for approving administrative permits, including administrative exceptions, certificates of compatibility, game center permits, fence modifications, home occupation permits, outdoor facility permits, sign permits/exceptions, site plan approvals, temporary use permits, zoning permits, landscape plans and, in consultation with the Traffic Engineer, parking requirements for certain uses. Other duties include approving minor modifications to previously approved use permits, variances, parking exceptions and planned developments. For more information, call (510) 577-3327.
