Seniors Can Sign-Up For Clipper Card January 6

A Clipper Card outreach event will be held January 6 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the . Senior citizens will be able to learn about the new Clipper Card used on Bay Area transit and sign up for it.

Beginning in January the green Senior and red Youth/Disabled BART tickets are being replaced by Senior Clipper, Youth Clipper or a Regional Transit Connection Clipper Card (for passengers with qualifying disabilities).

These Clipper Cards are specially encoded  to automatically calculated the discounted cash fare or monthly pass fare each time you use them.

You must apply for a Senior Clipper card in person.

To obtain a Clipper card you must bring with you one of the following forms of identification accepted as proof of your eligibility: birth certificate, driver's license issued by any state, ID card issued by any state, alien registration/permanent resident card, Matricula Consular/Consular ID card or passport.
