Community Meeting on City Manager Search Process

San Leandro is in the process of picking its next city manager and is holding a public meeting to hear from residents about what qualities they would like to see in the person who will soon head the City.

City Council will host the meeting in the lecture hall of the main library as an opportunity for the public to share what they value in a city manager. The forum comes on the same day that a public questionnaire on the same topic closes.

An ad-hoc committee that includes Mayor Stephen Cassidy narrowed the field of candidates from 30 down to seven at its April 20 meeting.
