Meet and greet State Assemblyman Candidate Abel Guillen

Please join us at my home to meet Abel Guillen, candidate for State 18th Assembly District, and to learn how he plans to "build diverse coalitions to deliver better schools and educational opportunities so our communities can flourish."

The new 18th Assembly District (previously numbered '16') includes most of Oakland and the cities of Alameda and San Leandro. The district boundaries were redrawn by the nonpartisan California Citizens Redistricting Commission<http://wedrawthelines.ca.gov/>, and will be in effect for the 2012 election.

The district’s current representative, Sandre Swanson<http://asmdc.org/members/a16>, will be leaving the Assembly in 2012 due to term limits.
