Since taking office, Mayor Stephen Cassidy has held a few open forum sessions with residents to allow them to voice their concerns and opinions.
For his Saturday, June 18 Coffee with the Mayor, Cassidy says he wants to specifically meet with the Chinese community in San Leandro, though everyone is welcome to attend. A Cantonese translator will be provided.
Cassidy says "it is important to engage our entire community in open dialogue on civic issues and matters of neighborhood concern, and language differences shouldn’t be a barrier to that communication."
