EBRPD Offers Local Group Boating Trips

San Leandro Creek and nearby Lake Chabot are two of the places these tours are led.

Summer vacation time is almost here and what better way to enjoy it than getting a group of people together to go boating on one of the area's magnificent waterways. Did you know our regional park district now will help you design a boating trip for your group? It provides special guided trips in canoes and kayaks right here in our own community.

By East Bay Regional Park District -

The East Bay Regional Park District provides custom tailored group boating trips for the public. For the first time this year the district is offering the trips on our lakes, and shorelines.

Join Interpretive and Recreation staff for guided trips touring our natural resources via canoes and kayaks.

Also, check out the Regional in Nature activity guide for our boating services open to individuals.

Trips vary, ranging from ones offering paddle skill development to guided trips featuring a local destination.  We strive to offer boating services where weather and water are conditions are optimal and safe.

Boating trips are offered throughout the Regional Park system including in the San Leandro Bay, Brooks Island, Big Break, Lake Chabot, Quarry Lakes, and more.
