City Council Candidate Orientation To Be Held

On Thursday, Aug. 23, City staff invites City Council candidates and the public to an information exchange. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Dave Karp Room at the .

“This is an opportunity for candidates and the public to hear about City services and projects from our staff. We will provide information to all candidates transparently and concisely in a series of department presentations,” stated City Manager Chris Zapata.

“We are pleased to offer this orientation to give the candidates, applicants and members of the public a better understanding of City operations. Our hope is to provide information that will be useful to them in the upcoming election season, and beyond,” stated City Clerk Marian Handa.

This optional event is organized by the City Manager’s and City Clerk’s Offices.
