Applications are being accepted through April 14.

Information submitted by City of San Leandro—

The City of San Leandro Youth Advisory Commission has announced the launch of the latest round of its Youth Mini Grant program.  This annual program provides grant funding to support public service organizations who offer programs or services designed to have a positive impact on San Leandro youth.

Funds for this program were raised by the Youth Advisory Commission through various volunteering and fundraising activities.  Additional funds also were generously donated by the San Leandro Optimist Club.

As part of this year's program, $1,000 in total funding will be available for distribution by the Commission following an objective screening of all applications received.  The amount per award may vary depending upon the number of applications received and determined to be eligible for awards.

Hard copies of the application are available at the Marina Community Center located at 15301 Wicks Blvd. and the San Leandro Senior Community Center, 13909 East 14th Street.  The application also is available electronically through the Grant Program Website
