According to the ship's website, Living Ship events allow guests to "experience an aircraft carrier in action. Attendees can witness simulated flight operations as aircraft are lifted to the flight deck and placed into launch position, participate in mission briefings, meet former crew and sit in the cockpit of a fighter jet." The theme for this Father's Day Living Ship Day is "Stories of Glory".
