2012 Big Read Kicks Off At Library March 3
Come participate in the San Leandro Library's community wide reading event called "Sun, Stone and Shadows" and get acquainted with some of Mexico's finest authors
The 2012 "Big Read" kicks off at the March 3 from 2 to 3 p.m. with a reading of Rosario Castellanos' The Cooking Lesson, followed by a cooking demonstration of Mexican cusine.
You can join a "Sun, Stone and Shadows" Big Read Book Club and get your free copy of this anthology while supplies last.

Copies are available in either English or Spanish. Refreshments will be served.
The San Leandro Public Library, was the recipient of a second Big Read Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The library has selected the anthology of some of Mexico's finest authors titled "Sun, Stone and Shadows: 20 Great Mexican Short Stories."
