Woman Stopped For Ticket Chased By Sheriff's

Low speed chase over low grade incident.

 

Bay City News -- A low-speed chase from San Leandro to Oakland tonight led to the arrest of the car's driver, according to the Alameda County Sheriff' Office.

The case began in San Leandro at about 9:15 p.m. and proceeded up East 14th Street to Oakland, where the street's name changes to International Boulevard.

 The car, with sheriff's deputies in pursuit, proceeded dozens of blocks to 14th Avenue, where deputies managed to pull the car over.

The initial stop was for a traffic violation, but the woman driver was arrested when stopped. The car was not stolen, according to the sheriff's office.
