Unconfirmed reports on the Internet, attributed to unidentified family and friends of the victims, say the third victim is 23-year-old Joshua Alford.

According to news reports, Kiel grew up in the East Bay but was living in San Francisco, where she was a student at San Francisco State University.

The three were killed and three others were injured in a shooting after a party in an industrial area on the corner of Alvarado Street and Aladdin Avenue around 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

According to San Leandro Police Sergeant Doug Calcagno, an apparently unlicensed party at 2661 Alvarado Street had just let out when at least two gunmen approached party attendees in a parking lot and opened fire on an SUV, shattering its windows.

Motives and identities of the gunmen remain a mystery. Police do plan to release a sketch of a "person of interest" in the incident this evening.

Three people were declared dead at the scene; two were taken to the hospital by ambulance and a third took himself to the hospital.

Police do not know how seriously the wounded people were hurt.

Calcagno said preliminary investigations of the incident suggest the party was advertised on the Internet. Calcagno said it is unknown whether the gunmen had attended the party or arrived afterwards.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in their investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call San Leandro police directly or to call the tip line at (510) 577-3278.
