Sunday Alert: Overturn Car Southbound 880

Bay City News -- The California Highway Patrol says a collision was reported at 6:08 a.m. on southbound Highway 880 at the interstate Highway 980 connector. The accident involved an overturned car in the roadway's center divider.

The CHP issued a Sig-alert at 6:18 a.m. and crews remained at the scene of the collision as of 6:40 a.m.

No information about potential injuries suffered in the collision was immediately available, but an ambulance was called to the scene.

A check of the website 511.org showed traffic moving smoothly at 8:10 am.
